Providing the latest technology to valued clients across a range of floor cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, floor sweepers, commercial vacuums and industries, including warehousing, transport, pharmaceutical, automotive, construction, and hospitality.

This project in partnership with Capital Equipment Hire, won Best Use of Search – B2B Campaign (SEO) at the Global Search Awards 2025. Capital Equipment came to Megantic in 2023 after experiencing a significant drop in first-page keyword rankings and organic traffic, which threatened their market share and visibility. We responded with a tailored SEO strategy built on data, user intent and clear commercial goals. Our focus was to drive both B2B hire leads and eCommerce sales by enhancing site architecture, optimising content and leveraging SERP features.

Our Approach

The Capital Equipment strategy started with comprehensive research, progressed into full SEO implementation and was strengthened by ongoing support and continual improvements.

With a complex site architecture hosted on Odoo and limited internal resources to diagnose or resolve technical SEO issues, they needed a specialist team to provide clarity, structure, and a strategic roadmap for growth.

Megantic got to work creating a segmented hierarchy, driven by customer-centric buyer data that was essential due to the website categorisation, especially for mobile visitors.

We also:

  • Segmented 245 categories to create a more intuitive and customer-led structure
  • Created and redirected 50+ new categories to improve search relevance and user pathways
  • Optimised site speed by reducing large H1 banners and heavy design elements
  • Repositioned the search bar above the navigation to drive better mobile UX
  • Removed low-value page components and replaced sub-category backgrounds with lightweight navigation icons
  • Developed custom metadata for all categories aligned with real user intent and market research
  • Enhanced crawling and indexing via strategic content, internal linking, and EEAT-focused updates
  • Used Google Search Console crawl data to improve search-bot accessibility and block staging environments from indexing
  • Reduced 404s and refined redirect responses, improving overall quality signals and increasing Smartphone Googlebot activity
